Phi Gate

Phi gate is a laterite gate situated on the north at the inner city wall area between Petch fortress and northwest corner fortress. The gate is 4 meters wide and 5.50 meters tall.

This gate was mentioned in the second royal archives composition by King Chulalongkorn the Great (Rama V) for his personal trip that “… it’s beginning with the ghost gate on the east side which is still mounted with a good condition of the wall comparing to other gates…”
