Feature :
Standing deity statue wears Thai theatrical crown with gemstone and ear jewelry. This statue consists of wide forehead, eyes looking sideway, small nose, horn-chestnut-shaped lips, chubby cheeks, pointed ears with long earrings touching with shoulder. Straight hair is long to his neck. Segmental neck, small body and wide shoulder. It wears necklace, long necklace for decoration, bracelet, gold bracelet and ring. The right hand upturned at his chest and hold a scripture. The left hand hangs at his hip and hold a sword. This statue wears priest 's waistband on floral-pattern fabric with diamond-shaped girdle. Sarong is long to his shin with hem overlapping at the front. The outtermost decorated with floral patterns with 2-layered long girdle. Wearing anklet and pique up shoes. The right heel slightly raised. This statue is on Singha base with cloth hem at the front. Its edge is decorated with Lai Krajang.
Condition :
damaged, black and gold lacquer at neck, shoulder, chest and hands were cracked. The sword is lost.
Historical Background :
It was maintained at Phet Phum Phairot Throne Hall and assumed to be built as guardian spirit of Khao Maha Sawan by King Mongkut (Rama IV) of Rattanakosin. This statue is enshrined inside of the throne hall on the north of Phi Man Phet Ma Ha Suan Hall.
